    1. Is "Aunt Abby" your real aunt?

    2. She's my mom's cousin, but they're basically sisters (twins, for that matter), so we all call her Aunt Abby. ;)

  4. Your grandparent's creek looks a lot like my swamp, with pretty moss and dead leaves and things. Only I find running water to be much better than the stagnant stuff in our swamp.

    1. Most of the running water came from the winter rains; in summer, it's pretty dry and stagnant, sadly. ;)

  6. Hello, Kirsten! These photos are just lovely, and I really like Sylvia's top :) Great photoshoot!

I'm sorry to be so off-topic, but I didn't see that you had a Blogger contact email, so I thought I would just ask mention this through the comment, if that's okay with you :)

I just wanted to let you know that I am holding auditions for two spots on my AG collaboration blog (Seven Bloggers and Their Dolls), and I would be so honored if you auditioned! It's completely fine, though, if you are not interested or are not able to! :)

    Thanks for your time.

    1. Thank you so much for thinking of us! :)

Unfortunately, we and our mom have a lot going on in our lives, (well, mostly school), so I don't think we have the time to post on another doll blog. I'm sorry. :/

But thank you again for thinking of us! We're very honored. :)

    1. We wish that, too! (This creek is at our mom's grandparents' house, so we only get to see it once or twice a year.) :)

  10. All of these photos are so cute, I love the ones right in front of the creek!

I have a really quick question, for Kittykat Workshop did you get licenses and stuff? I want to start an etsy shop for doll clothes and I'd have to deal with getting business licenses and seller's permit and all of that, and my parents want me to figure out exactly what I would need to get without their help (let me learn how to be independent in the world of finance LOL) and I think I know what I need but I'm not 100% sure and I don't want to break any laws..if you got them, which ones did you need to get, if you can say?
    Thanks!

    1. When you set up an Etsy shop, you don't need to get any licenses or permits. The thing about Etsy is that they've already done all that for you! However, 3% of every sale you make will go to the Etsy company - sort of a "rent" that you pay for selling on their website.

Also, it costs 25 cents to list an item on Etsy. However, if you give us your email, we can send you an "invite" to you to open a shop. If you accept, then you and us will both get 40 free listings! It's pretty awesome. Let us know if you'd like to do that! But if you're not comfortable with sending us your email, it's all right. We understand ;)

      Hope this all helps. :)

    2. Thank you! I'm pretty sure for my city I still have to get the permits and stuff because they want to control everything and whatnot, LOL, but I do know that the seller's permit is free and I'm not sure about what else I need and it's cost..I was in a craft fair in November but since it was just one day I didn't need to get anything for it, but because of that I do have a company, Wild Rose Doll Co.
Once I finally get it figured out, I will ask my parents if I can do that! 40 free listings sounds really nice!

    3. Okay. I hope you get it all figured out! When you're ready for us to "invite" you, just let us know. :)
