About Us

Kirsten

Hello, my name is Kirsten Anna! I am sixteen years old.
As you may know, I am one of the American Girl historical (now called BeForever) dolls. I am on the quieter side, but am always ready to tag along with my sisters for a fun adventure!
You can usually find me immersed in a good book or pet sitting (cats are my favorite animal). I believe that proper grammar is very important, and I am notorious for correcting other people's sentences. Sylvia says I'm a little old-fashioned, but that's all right! I'm proud to be old fashioned.
I love the colors blue and purple. As you can see, my dress is blue.
My favorite school subject is reading. Not surprisingly, historical fiction is my favorite type of book. It was my idea to start this journal, though, and Sylvia loved the plan. Enjoy our entries!

Sylvia

Hi, there! my name is Sylvia Jade, and I am fifteen years old.
I'm one of the My American Girl dolls, number #55 to be exact. I LOVE adventure, whether that means climbing a tree, bungee jumping, or mixing up a huge batch of cookies in the kitchen. My best friend is my sister, Kirsten, and I am cousins with... you guessed it... Saige, the 2013 Girl of the Year doll! Yes, we do look a bit alike.
Horses are my favorite animal (I think I was inspired by Saige). Tennis is my favorite sport, and I hope to someday be part of a girls' tennis team.
My favorite colors are green and pink.
In spite of my fast-paced life, I still find time to sit down and write a bit of poetry. I love poetry; Kirsten says that I'm pretty good at it. And it was Kirsten's idea to start this online journal... I was kinda surprised. Usually, she doesn't have anything to do with the computer. But, here we are, and I hope you enjoy our posts!

Saige

Hello! My name is Saige Amber. I'm fifteen, just like my cousin Sylvia!
As Sylvia has already told you, I am the 2013 Girl of the Year doll.  I love art, and I think it is an amazing way to bring glory to Jesus Christ!
You can usually find me painting in a quiet corner of the house or garage. It is my favorite hobby. When I'm not painting, I'm probably dreaming about my beautiful horse, Georgia. Horses are amazing animals! It's so easy to see that they were designed by a loving Creator, not evolved from some random glob of chemicals. Sadly, Georgia is still back in New Mexico, but someday I'll visit her again.
I don't have just one favorite color... I like them all! Rich crimson, vibrant orange, sunshine yellow, apple green, bubbly turquoise, royal blue, orchid purple... the list could go on and on.
Kirsten and Sylvia say that I have a good eye for fashion, which is probably explained by my love of color. I enjoy mixing and matching my clothes, and coming up with new and unique combinations!
I will be writing some of the entries in this blog now, but not as many as Kirsten or Sylvia, so the blog's name will stay the same, "Journal of Two Dolls". I hope that clears up any confusion.
     Happy reading!

Caroline

Hi, my name is Caroline Coral! Well... that's what I wish my name was, so that counts, right?
No, my real name is Caroline Elizabeth. But I like Coral better. It's so much prettier, don't you think?  Anyway... just don't call me Elizabeth, and I'll be okay.
I'm thirteen years old. Some people say I'm old for my age, while others think I'm still ten or eleven. It's weird. Oh, well.
I am the 1812 BeForever doll, and I have a special fondness in my heart for ships and waves and the seaside. But other than that, I'm what you might call a typical "girly-girl". And that's not a bad thing!
I love ballet, princesses, pretty flowers, tea parties, the color pink, and dolls. (Hey, who says that dolls can't have dolls?) My favorite animals are any baby animals. (Baby dolphins are so cute!)
I like reading novels, especially Little Women. But I'm not "obsessed" with reading like my sister Kirsten. I'd rather be acting out the story with my friends. Kirsten says that I'm a bit of a drama queen... she's probably right. But Sylvia is always ready to be dramatic with me. Thank you, Sylvia!
I already told you my favorite color. It's pink. Any pink, except for hot pink and magenta. Ick! Too bright for me. I'd prefer a nice rosy blush or a pastel.
I'll write a few entries in this blog, but not enough for Kirsten and Sylvia to change the whole name. I hope you're not confused.
     Have fun reading!

  2. It's so neat how each of you more or less reminds me of a different one of my dolls, yet, at the same time, you are each unique and special in your own ways. :) <3

  9. All of your dolls are so cute! :) I love Sylvia's photo, too.

I'm sorry to be so off-topic, but I didn't see that you had a Blogger contact email, so I thought I would just ask mention this in a comment, if that's okay with you :)

I just wanted to let you know that I am holding auditions for two spots on my AG collaboration blog (Seven Bloggers and Their Dolls), and I would be so happy if you auditioned! It's completely fine, though, if you are not interested or are not able to! :)
